For the 8th day in a row, “regime’s” helicopters drop barrel bombs on Latakia mountains in conjunction with renewed ground shelling on the “de-escalation” area
For the 8th day in a row, regime’s helicopters dropped barrel bombs after today’s afternoon, targeting Kabani area in Jabal al-Akrad at the northern countryside of Latakia, while the regime forces renewed the ground shelling on “Putin – Erdogan” area, where they targeted by rocket shells areas in al-Wosta hills, Abu al-Dahdah, and the Syriatel in the vicinity of Kabani in the northern countryside of Latakia, and other areas in Ma’aret Hurmah, Baarbu, Stuh al-Deir, Rakaya, outskirts of al-Naqir, al-Faqea, Om al-Sir, and Arinbeh in the southern and southeastern countryside of Idlib.
The Syrian Observatory published this morning that the “Islamic factions” launched mortar shell on al-Rasif town, which controlled by the “regime forces” in Sahl al-Ghab at the northwestern countryside of Hama just before midnight, but no information about casualties, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory monitored cautious calm in the “de-escalation” area since midnight of yesterday until now, interrupted by the fall of shells launched by the “regime forces” targeting places in Kafrsajna and Rakaya in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the areas of Kabana and al-Teffahiyyeh in the northern countryside of Latakia, and al-al-Sermaniyyeh and other areas in Sahl al-Ghab at the northwestern countryside of Hama, while the Syrian Observatory monitored yesterday evening several helicopters belonging to the Syrian regime to target the area of Kabana north of Latakia by barrel bombs today evening, along with the overflight of a Russian reconnaissance plane over areas in the southern and western sectors of Idlib province, and the SOHR monitored rocket shelling hours ago, carried out by the regime’s ground forces targeting areas in Tremla, Maarrat Hurmah, Maarrat Al-Sin, Hazarin and Karsaa in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the Zayzun’s power plant in the western countryside of Hama, and the SOHR published during this day, that the regime’s helicopters returned to fly over the mountains of Latakia today afternoon, along with dropping barrel bombs for the 7th consecutive day on the area of Kabana in Jabal Al-Akrad, while Islamic factions have targeted positions of the regime forces in Al-Hardana area in Hama countryside by rocket shells, while the regime forces shelled places in the vicinity of Khan Tuman in the southern countryside of Aleppo, as well as other places in Abu Habba and Al-Raffa villages and the vicinity of Al-Qerati in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib, and the Observatory published this morning, Sunday, that cautious calm prevailed the whole “de-escalation” area after midnight of Saturday – Sunday, before the regime forces return to interrupt this calm at today’s dawn and morning, through their shelling by rockets on Arinbeh, Al-Naqir, Maarrat Hurmah, Kafr Sajna, Sheikh Mustafa, Al-Tah, Tahtaya, Um Jalal and the Abandoned Battalion in the southern, eastern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, the Syrian Observatory also monitored exchange of targeting by shells and heavy machineguns on the area of Tal Jaafar in the southern countryside of Idlib, between the regime forces against factions operating in the area, without information about casualties so far, and the SOHR documented yesterday evening the death of killing of two officers of the regime forces, one of them with is a lieutenant and the other is captain, they were killed in attacks this morning with heavy machine guns targeted positions of the regime by the jihadi factions, in areas at the northern countryside of Latakia.
And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4164, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 27th of September 2019, and they are: 1066 civilians including 264 children and 189 citizen women, and they are 228 including 44 children and 43 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 88 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 542 including 155 children, 91 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 127 people including 22 women and 23 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 81 citizens including 26 children and 15 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1677 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1089 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1421 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.
And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 27th of September 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4689 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1349 civilians including 345 children under the age of eighteen and 253 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 107 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 19 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1763 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1124 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1577 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4920 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1432 civilians including 374 children and 267 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 108 people including 31 children and 20 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1829 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1226 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1660 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
