Calm returns to Jandairis town in Afrin countryside after heavy armed clashes between the Turkey-loyal factions last night

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory monitored the return of total calm to Jandairis area in the countryside of the city of Afrin northwest of Aleppo; after violent armed clashes in Jandairis town yesterday evening between pro-Turkish factions, against the background of harassment by a member of “Ahrar al-Sham” of a girl in the market of the town, where she told the military police about that so they started a campaign to bring down the member, but things developed and turned into a street war between a group of Ahrar al-Sham and a group of Ahrar al-Sharqiyyah, also roads were closed and arrests took place of both parties, and information about meetings yesterday night in order to resolve the dispute that took place and release the prisoners between the warring factions, and this comes hours after the announcement of the merger of several factions with the “National Army.”

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the Syrian Observatory learned that clashes with medium and heavy machine weapons are taking place in Afrin countryside, between the Turkey-loyal factions, and according to information that the “Syrian Observatory” received: the clashes are taking place between Ahrar al-Sham against Jaysh al-Sharqiyyah in Jandairis area in Afrin countryside, but the reasons are still unknown so far, amid horror situation among civilians as a result of the use of shells during the clashes.
