Members of the “Turkey-loyal factions” severely beat a Kurdish citizen in Afrin countryside and arrest 15 people on charges of “dealing with Autonomous Administration”

Aleppo Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory obtained a copy of a video showing members of pro-Turkish factions; beating a Kurdish citizen in a public square in Afrin city northwest of Aleppo, and according to the information of the “Syrian Observatory”: members from Ahrar al-Sharqiyyah beat and insulted one of the Kurdish citizens in the public square of Jandairis town, the video also shows him being subjected to the most severe beatings and torture, while sources told the “Syrian Observatory” that the violation occurred a few days ago, and in the same context, the Turkish loyal factions arrested more than 15 people in Korzil village in Afrin countryside, on charges of “intelligence and dealing with Autonomous Administration” during the latter’s control of the area, and they were taken to an unknown destination until the moment.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 4th of October 2019 that the violations continue against people of Afrin by the Turkey-loyal “Olive Branch” factions, without Turkey putting an end to these practices that have been taking place since their control of Afrin until now, where reliable sources informed the “Syrian Observatory” that members of one of the factions beat an engineer working within a cleaning project in Afrin city on Wednesday; because he did not say “greetings to them”, also a doctor was assaulted in his clinic in Jandairis street in Afrin city, when one of the members tried to bypass the waiting line and enter directly, but the doctor refused to check him so the member left the clinic and gathered several other members, broke into the clinic at gunpoint, and beat the doctor, but the patients and citizens intervened and got him out of their hands.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 1st of October 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that members of the pro-Turkey Military Police raided the house of a doctor in Afrin city and took him to unknown destination, it is noteworthy that the doctor is descended from Maabatli in and he was arrested previously by a faction backed by Turkey then he was released in return for a ransom paid by his relative.
