The statement also says: “since people of north and east Syria and west Kurdistan have decided to defend themselves, the Turkish state has tried through various kinds of attacks to annihilate the people’s revolution, the Turkish state has proved tens of times that it is helping ISIS mercenaries, and the Turkish support for mercenaries of the Organization was clear by supporting them with weapons, logistics, and cadres, etc., through photographs and documents. The Turkish state seeks through these attacks to open new a territory for ISIS mercenaries, as well as to prolong the life of these groups,” expressing that they will not accept in any way the attacks of the Turkish State and those who support it, and that “the whole world knows very well the purpose of the Turkish state’s attack on north and east of Syria, “we therefore call on human rights organizations, democratic institutions, the European Union, and the United Nations to take a stand against the attack of the Turkish State, and anyone who stands idly in the face of the Turkish State’s attack is a helper and supporter. “

In the statement obtained by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights; the councils appealed to the world by saying: “according to this basis, we tell again our statement to the whole world that we are not targeting the Turkish State, but if the Turkish State attacks us to occupy our territory, -then- we will use our legitimate right in defense until the last breath, we are also ready to repel any kind of attack.”

The statement added: “On this basis, we say that our people, who have made sacrifices like no other in the past; today they will also do what it takes in a high spirit to repel the Turkish attack., we appeal to all nations, identities, and beliefs to stand united in the face of the Turkish attacks and to raise their voice against them, the big role and responsibility lies in the hands of the youth in repelling attacks of the Turkish State, and we believe that our young people will take a revolutionary stance and will turn to the fronts of resistance and battlefields in a revolutionary spirit. “

The statement continued: “In the end, we, the protection forces, are ready to protect our homeland, values, and gains of our people, and if the price of this protection is our souls, -then- we are ready to pay it for the sake of our people, we have given thousands of martyrs, wounded, and injuries for the sake of the right autonomous protection, and this matter is a dignity and a victory for all peoples of Syria, also it was an unparalleled hope and victory for all humanity. “
