Turkish Forces try hard to isolate Ras al-Ayn and Tal Abyad from the rest of the area by intense air and ground targeting amid continuous violent clashes

The Turkish Forces are trying to isolate the areas of Ras al-Ayn in al-Hasakah and Tal Abyad in al-Raqqah countryside from the rest of the areas, by targeting the roads to which they lead by the warplanes, such as targeting the area connecting Tal Abyad and Ayn al-Arab, the area connecting Ras al-Ayn and Tal Tamer, and the area connecting Ras al-Ayn and al-Hasakah; in order to prevent the arrival of military reinforcements and support, and in the same context, shells launched by the Turkish Forces landed on Tal Jehan village northwest of Qahtaniyah town, where one of them fell on the Church of the Virgin Mary in the village, which caused material damage, also the Turkish Forces continue their intensive missile shelling on Tal Abyad area and its villages, and Ras al-Ayn area and its villages, amid continuous clashes in several areas in Tal Abyad and Ras al-Ayn, after SDF managed to regain positions they lost last night form the pro-Turkish factions in Ras al-Ayn city, in addition to regaining Alok village in Ras al-Ayn, while the Syrian Observatory learned that the “anti-terrorist forces” arrested several people in Kaddour Biek neighborhood in Qameshly city, on charges of “giving coordinates of military positions” to the Turkish Forces, while the relative and cautious calm continues since after midnight until now in areas extending from Darbasiyah to al-Malkiyyeh, after heavy shelling targeted villages located there during the late hours of the night.

The “Syrian Observatory” documented the increase in death toll in the ranks of both parties east of Euphrates, where it rose to 32, the number of members of the Syria Democratic Forces who have been killed since the start of the Turkish military operation; as a result of air and ground bombardment and clashes, also it rose to 33, the number of fighters of the factions loyal to Turkey including 13 of the Ankara cells, who were killed during the shelling and clashes against Syria Democratic Forces, while a Turkish soldier was killed during clashes in Tal Abyad area, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, and in the same context the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4 people by Turkish airstrike targeted Ali al-Bajiya village of Tal Abyad, but it is not yet known whether they are civilians or fighters.
