Unknown drones fly over Al-Bokamal city and the Iranian anti-craft systems try to intercept them

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that drones whose identity is not known so far, were monitored flying over Al-Bokamal city which is under the control of the Iranian forces and their loyal militias in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, amid targeting by the Iranians by anti-craft weapons, and the SOHR published on the 10th of October 2019, that violent explosions shook al-Bokamal at the Syrian-Iraqi border on Thursday, the 10th of October 2019, they were caused by targeting by unknown warplanes for positions of the Iranian Forces and militias loyal to them, but no information about casualties and material losses until now, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 26th of September 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Iranian Forces and the militias loyal to them of Syrian and non-Syrian nationalities; are fortifying their positions in Deir Ezzor countryside especially those close to the Syrian-Iraqi border, where they are taking new security measures by transporting and changing their weapons’ warehouses fearing new airstrikes, where in September the Iranians suffered heavy losses of lives, weapons, and ammunition, through 2 separate airstrikes in 8 days, during which at least 37 of the Iranian Forces and their loyal militias were killed and most of them are Iraqi nationals, in addition to the destruction of sites, vehicles, ammunition depots, weapons, and buildings in al-Heri area in al-Bokamal countryside, al-Imam Ali Center, al-Hezam al-Akhdar area, the Industrial Zone, al-Abbas village near al-Bokamal city, and the border crossing with Iraq, and other locations in al-Bokamal area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

Where the Syrian Observatory published at that time, that the unidentified raids that targeted the Iranian Forces and their loyal militias in al-Heri area of al-Bokamal countryside east of Deir Ezzor on the 17th of September 2019, have caused heavy human and material losses, where the raids had destroyed 5 buildings of the Popular Mobilization Forces and killed about 19 members of Iraqi nationalities of the their members, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 9th of September 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented heavy casualties as a result of airstrikes targeted positions, vehicles, ammunition and weapon depots for the Iranian Forces and their loyal militias in and around al-Bokamal city, where at least 18 of the Iranians and their loyal militias were killed, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation in addition to information about other casualties, where warplanes unidentified until the moment targeted Iranian positions in al-Imam Ali Center, the Green Belt area, the Industrial Area and al-Abbas village near al-Bokamal city, and the border crossing with Iraq and other locations in al-Bokamal area in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor.

And the Syrian Observatory has documented the death of 55 members of the Iranian forces and militias loyal to them of non-Syrian nationalities and members of the regime forces in the Israeli airstrikes that targeted joint sites of the Iranians, the regime, and their loyal militia in the al-Heri area near al-Bokamal area in the far east of Deir Ezzor at the Syrian-Iraqi border shortly before midnight on Sunday, the 17th of June  2018.
