The pro-Turkey factions kill more citizens north of Al-Raqqah and more families of ISIS members flee Ayn Issa Camp
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of 2 citizen women by gunfire of the pro-Turkey factions after they had imposed their control over the town of Sluk in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah, and with the fall of more casualties, it rose to 54, the number of civilian casualties who have been killed since the start of the Turkish military operation on the afternoon of Wednesday, the 9th of October 2019, they are 21 including a child, a female party official and 2 citizen women were killed in targeting by gunfire and field execution by faction loyal to Turkey on the highway south of Tal Abyad, 7 including 2 employees of the Autonomous Administration were killed in the ground shelling on the vicinity of Tal Abyad, 6 including a child, a woman, and 2 elderly men were killed in rocket shelling targeted the neighborhoods of Bashiriyya, Kaddour Biek, and al-Zaytuniyyeh in Qamishli city, 5 including a child were killed shelling on the vicinity of Ras Al-Ayn area in Al-Hasakah countryside, 4 were killed in the Turkish strikes on al-Bajiya village of Tal Abyad area, and 4 in Turkish airstrikes target the vicinity of Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) city, 3 including a female party official were killed by gunshot when they were heading towards Tal Abyad city, a female child was killed in shelling targeted al-Qahtaniyah countryside, and a man was targeted by Turkish snipers in Darbasiyah city, a woman and man were killed in Qameshly city by the Turkish Forces, and a man was killed in rocket shelling by the Turkish Forces on Qasr Dib village on the outskirts of al-Malkiyyeh.
While the Syrian Observatory learned that tension is still continuing in Ayn Issa Camp north of Al-Raqqah city, also a large number of families of the “Islamic State” organization’s members managed to flee the section where they used to stay within Aun Issa Camp, exploiting the chaos which caused there as the battles approach the camp which led to the withdrawal of the Asayish forces, where they abandoned the task of protecting the camp to join the fighting and repelling the attacks on the area, where about 800 women and children of the families of ISIS members of foreign nationalities managed to flee towards unknown destination so far, also one of the prisons of Ayn Issa town witnessed a state of intractability within the section of the detainees who have been arrested on charge of belonging to the organization, and the SOHR published hours ago, that villages in the vicinity of Ayn Issa Camp in Al-Raqqah countryside, are under bombardment by Turkish warplanes in addition to heavy and violent rocket shelling, amid advancement by gunmen of pro-Turkey cells with factions loyal to Ankara towards Ayn Issa, after imposing full control over Sluk town, it is noteworthy that Ayn Issa Camp which contains thousands of displaced people in addition to the presence of more than 1000 members of the families of the “Islamic State” organization of foreign nationalities, and sources informed the Syrian Observatory that camp’s displaced people fear of approaching the military operations, the sources also added that a number of members of ISIS families managed to leave the camp in the shadow of the state of confusion witnessed in the area, also the Internal Security Forces (Asayish) withdrew from the camp with the approaching of clashes, in order to participate in repelling the attacks.
And the SOHR published today morning that it monitored fierce clashes in Sluk town in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah, between the the Syria Democratic Forces against the Turkish forces and factions loyal to them, in fierce attack carried out by the latter since early morning, under a cover of heavy firepower, where they managed to advance into the town and took large spaces of it amid ongoing attempts to impose full control over Sluk town, in the same context, clashes are continuing between the both parties in the outskirts of Tal Abyad city, in the areas of Bajiliyah, Kherbat Al-Razz, Furay’an and Jahjah on Tal Abyad – Ayn Issa Road, accompanied by heavy and violent shelling, while pro-Turkey factions targeted an ambulance in the vicinity of Tal Abyad area, where connection with the ambulance’s crew was lost and their fate is unknown.
