Turkish Forces and factions completely besiege Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani), and “Syrian regime’s” control of SDF prisons where they deployed is false news

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from several reliable sources that the rumors about the Syrian regime’s control over prisons and police stations of the Syria Democratic Forces within the areas where they have deployed are completely false, where the presence of the regime forces is limited to advanced points and areas of contact with the Turkey-loyal factions, and in another context, Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) city has become completely besieged by the Turkish Forces and the factions loyal to them, after they were able to turn around and close the roads leading to it, amid continuous violent clashes against the Syria Democratic Forces in the city, also the violent clashes continue between both parties in areas in Tal Abyad countryside in conjunction with exchange of shelling and targeting, which  caused casualties in the ranks of both parties.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that the city of Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) at the border in al-Hasakah countryside is witnessing continuous clashes at a violent pace, between the Syria Democratic Forces against the Turkish Forces and the factions loyal to them, in conjunction with the continuation of intensive air and ground bombardment, and the Syrian Observatory learned that the Turkish Forces and the factions managed to advance more and controlled about half of the city, and this advancement operation came with an intensive and continuous fire cover since 2 days ago, also the clashes between both parties continue in al-Alya area and other places in the area connecting Tal Tamr and Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) city, accompanied by airstrikes by the Turkish warplanes in addition to intensive ground shelling, and the clashes within the aforementioned areas caused more casualties in the ranks of both parties, while places in Kara Kara area in Malkiyyeh countryside were under aerial and ground shelling, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory learned that the regime forces that entered Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) on Wednesday have positioned in 3 locations at the border with Turkey, they are Kani hill east of the city, the municipality west of the city, and al-Bawwaba in the middle of Ayn al-Arab (Kobani), and the Syrian Observatory also learned that the regime forces spread in al-Manajir area in Tal Tamr countryside.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to 203 at least, the number of members of the Syria Democratic Forces who were killed by Turkish air and land strikes and clashes against Turkish Forces and the factions loyal to, also it rose to 171, the number of the Syrian factions loyal to Ankara including 21 of the pro-Turkish cells who were killed in targeting and clashes against SDF, while 9 Turkish soldiers were killed in clashes and targeting, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, in addition to information about other casualties.
