Russian “guarantor’s” warplanes hunt displaced people in the places of displacement and kill a man and his wife and injure others in a camp east of Idlib city
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of a man and his wife from Bennesh town and the injury of others, in bombardment by the Russian warplanes on a camp in agricultural land inhabited by displaced families in the vicinity of Taftanaz town in Idlib countryside, and in the same context, the regime forces continue to shell villages of Idlib countryside and areas north of Khan Shaykhun, they also shelled “KafrDa’el” village in the southern countryside of Aleppo, while Russian warplanes renewed their bombardment on “Putin – Erdogan” area, and carried out about 14 raids on places at Taftanaz Airbase east of Idlib city through 3 warplanes, the also carried out 3 raids on Taftanaz town and its outskirts, and 9 on Rakaya Sajna, Maarzita, Tal al-Nar, and Hazarin, in the southern countryside of Idlib, and 6 raids on Kabani area in the northern countryside of Latakia and 3 on Zayzoun and al-Qarqour in Sahl al-Ghab, but no information until now about casualties, and this is the first escalation of its kind since the start of the new ceasefire in the area on the 31st of August, while the regime forces launched artillery shelled on Khribet al-Naqous village in the western countryside of Hama, Khan al-Asal in the southern countryside of Aleppo, and Muqah and Amiriya town in the southern countryside of Idlib, but no information about casualties, and the “Syrian Observatory” monitored this morning that the Russian warplanes resumed their bombardment on the “Putin – Erdogan” area on Saturday morning, and carried out several raids on areas of Kabani in the northern countryside of Latakia, and the outskirts of Hzarin and Tal al-Nar in the southern countryside of Idlib, also the regime forces shelled places in the roads leading to areas Jabal al-Akrad, and other places in Kafr Nubl town and the contact areas in the southern and eastern countryside of Idlib, but other than that; the cautious calm has been prevailing all four sectors of the “de-escalation” since midnight.
And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4202, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 19th of October 2019, and they are: 1083 civilians including 267 children and 193 citizen women, and they are 230 including 44 children and 43 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 88 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 542 including 155 children, 91 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 136 people including 24 women and 24 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 81 citizens including 26 children and 15 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1692 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1101 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1434 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.
And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 19th of October 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4731 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1362 civilians including 348 children under the age of eighteen and 257 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 107 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 19 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1778 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1136 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1591 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 4962 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1445 civilians including 377 children and 271 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 108 people including 31 children and 20 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1845 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1238 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1674 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
