Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) city under siege… Catastrophic humanitarian conditions… continued shelling and attacks by the Ankara-loyal factions… and a new medical convoy expected to enter and evacuate the injured and wounded

Medical sources told the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that 28 civilians lost their lives during the past 5 days inside Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) city, as a result of shelling and targeting of the besieged city, and the sources added that some of the bodies are in the hospital of Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) and some of which are thrown in the streets, after being targeted by snipers of the factions as they were leaving their homes to buy their daily needs, and no one was able to reach the bodies yet, also other bodies are inside the houses and the medical teams were unable to come to them and help them due to the siege, also 13 members of the Syria Democratic Forces were killed in the same period in shelling and clashes, and some of their bodies are still in Ras al-Ayn Hospital and others have been buried in the area,  while another medical convoy is expected to enter on Sunday to evacuate a new batch of wounded and injured and the bodies from the national hospital in Ras al-Ayn city; in case the Ankara-loyal factions did prevent them, as they did with the first convoy which they prevented from entering for 2 consecutive days, and targeted the vicinity of the convoy with shells before allowing it to cross with a medical team of an American humanitarian organization, where Ras al-Ayn city is living in catastrophic humanitarian conditions, where the clashes continue in the city through attacks by the Turkey-loyal factions on positions of the Syria Democratic Forces, accompanied by renewed bombardment despite the American Turkish agreement, also the factions are looting the locations they have extended their control to in the city, also, the remaining civilians in Ras al-Ayn made distress calls to intervene and get them out and help the wounded and injured people.

And with the fall of more casualties, the number of civilians killed since the beginning of the Turkish military operation on the 9th of October 2019 has increased to 114, and they are: 33 including a citizen woman and 2 of a local news team were killed by Turkish airstrikes targeting the city of Ras al-Ayn and its environs and eastern countryside, al-Rihaniyah village in al-Malkiyyeh countryside, and 28 were killed in shelling and clashes in Ras al-Ayn city, where some of the bodies were buried earlier due to the siege, and 21 including a child, a party official, and 2 women were killed in targeting by gunfire and field execution by the Turkey-loyal factions in the highway south of Tal Abyad city and other areas north of Ayn Issa and Sluk town, 7 including 2 employees of the Autonomous Administration were killed in the ground shelling on the vicinity of Tal Abyad, 6 including a child, a woman, and 2 old men were killed in missile shelling targeted the neighborhoods of al-Bashiriyya, Qaddour Biek, and al-Zaytuna in al-Qameshly city, 5 including a child were killed in shelling targeted Ras al-Ayn area in Hasakah countryside, 4 were killed in Turkish airstrikes on al-Bajiya village in Tal Abyad area, 3 were killed in sniping operations on villages of Tal Abyad, a child was killed in the fall of a shell targeted al-Qahtaniyah countryside, a man was killed after being targeted by a sniper of the Turkish Forces in Darbasiyah city, a citizen woman was shot by a Turkish sniper in Qameshly city, a man was killed in Turkish rocket shelling on the outskirts of Qasr Dib village in al-Malkiyyeh countryside, in addition to the death of 2 in shelling targeted al-Farat village north of Manbij city, and a child was killed in rocket shelling by the Turkish Forces on one of the villages of Ayn Issa town north of al-Raqqah city.

And as a result of the continuous battels, the death toll among the Syria Democratic Forces, military councils and internal security forces since the start of the Turkish military operation on Wednesday afternoon have risen to 256, which the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of 5 members of the regime forces and the injury of others in missile shelling by the Turkish Forces and the faction target northwest Manbij and east of Ayn Issa town in places of deployment of the regime forces, also the number of deaths among Syrian factions loyal to Ankara and the pro-Turkey cells killed in the attacks and clashes with the SDF during the same period reached 196, including 21 of the cells loyal to Ankara killed in clashes with the SDF, in addition to 9 Turkish soldiers were killed during the battels, amid information about more dead Turks on the Turkish-Syrian border, and the number of those killed is likely to rise due to the high number of wounded, some of them in dangerous situations.
