Popular demonstration in al-Malkiyyeh condemns the American – Turkish agreement, and a fighter was injured in night clashes near an American medical organization

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today hundreds demonstrated in Malkiyyeh city (Derek) in al-Hasakah countryside denouncing the American – Turkish agreement, while the Syrian Observatory learned from reliable sources that clashes took place last night between the Turkey-loyal factions against the Syria Democratic Forces, near an American medical organization in Salhiya village in Ras al-Ayn area, which injured one of “SDF” fighters.

The Syrian Observatory published that the east Euphrates area is witnessing a state of anticipation as the deadline approaches its end; for the Syria Democratic Forces to withdraw from areas 32 km deep in accordance with the American Turkish agreement, where the deadline officially expires on Tuesday evening, the 22nd of October 2019, amid public concern about what will happen when the deadline expires, fearing that return of the military operations and its escalate, or the deadline will be extended or SDF will withdraw from the areas agreed upon between the United States and Turkey, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that several cities and towns east of Euphrates in the countryside of al-Hasakah and al-Raqqah and Aleppo are preparing to go out in demonstrations condemning the American agreement.

The Syrian Observatory published this morning that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime forces continue to deploy within several locations east of Euphrates in the vicinity of Jellabiya to Tal Tamer, thus, the regime forces are now deployed on the roads of Ayn Issa – Hasakah including the road connecting Ayn Issa – Tal Tamr – the vicinity of Jellabiya, also the regime forces brought military reinforcements to Tal Tamr and headed towards al-Manajir area, while a column of the regime forces went to the vicinity of Darbasiyah area, and in the same context, areas located in the countryside of Ayn Issa city at one of the roads connecting to Ayn al-Arab city (Kobani), witnessed clashes between the Syria Democratic Forces against Ankara-loyal factions, where the clashes which were concentrated in areas of Kafifeh Silos, Himar, and the surrounding of Wbideh; continued for the first hours of the morning, and SDF were able to restore 2 villages the factions controlled for several hours, amid information about casualties in the ranks of both parties.

And in the same context, Darbasiyah city in al-Hasakah countryside witnessed the displacement of people in the past few hours, where a large number of elderly people and children and women have displaced from al-Hasaka city, and according to what the sources said: the citizens are staying in roads and parks of al-Hasakah city; due to the huge amount of people who displaced to the city from different areas against the background of the Turkish military operations, and the sources added to the Syrian Observatory, that the displacement from Darbasiyah came as measures taken in anticipation of any emergency that may occur, where no one knows what will happen in the coming hours.”
