Unidentified gunmen attack an SDF column in al-Namliyyeh Desert north of Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that unidentified gunmen believed to be of cells of the “Islamic State” Organization attacked on Thursday evening a column of the Syria Democratic Forces; while it was passing through Suhat al-Boferyu in the desert al-Namliyyeh village in the northern countryside of Deir Ezzor, after which an exchange of fire took place between both parties then the attackers were withdrew, and no information so far about casualties, followed by an alert among the Syria Democratic Forces in the area, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 22nd of October 2019 that a violent explosion was heard today evening in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, it turned to be caused by the explosion of an IED planted by unidentified persons on one of the major roads in Al-Hawayj village in the western countryside of Deir Ezzor, without information about casualties.
