With an intense aerial and ground shelling, the regime forces continue the violent attack on Kabani hills for the second day in a row and the jihadi groups confront them

Clashes continue at a violent pace for the second day in Kabani area at the northern countryside of Latakia, between the Islamic and jihadi factions against the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, in an attack carried out by the latter for the second day in a row, with air cover from the Russian warplanes and regime’s helicopters, amid intense ground shelling by tens of shells and missiles in order to advance and control strategic hills in Jabal al-Akrad , while the jihadi factions are desperately countering and inflict significant material damage and casualties in the ranks of the attacking regime forces.

In the same context, the Russian warplanes renewed the bombardment over the “de-escalation” area, targeting Kabani area in Latakia countryside, the vicinity of Tadef town in the western countryside of Aleppo, and Maarzita and the vicinity of Kansafra, in conjunction with the flight of Russian reconnaissance drones in the area, also 4 helicopters took turns in dropping more barrel bombs over Kabani area in the northern countryside of Latakia, amid clashes in the area between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the jihadi groups, accompanied by intensive shelling and exchange of targeting and information about more casualties, and the “Syrian Observatory” published that Russian “guarantor’s” warplanes and regime’s helicopters re-bombed the “de-escalation” area this morning, after their absence since Thursday evening, where the Russian warplanes bombarded the surrounding of Hazarin town in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Kabani area in Latakia countryside, also the helicopters dropped barrel bombs targeting Kabani area in the northern countryside of Latakia, while the regime forces launched artillery and missiles shells targeting Ma’aret Hurmah, Kafrsajna, al-Raffa and the abandoned battalion area in the southern and eastern countryside of Idlib, and Khalsa village in the southern countryside of Aleppo, in conjunction with the return of clashes and exchange of shelling to Kabani area in the northern countryside of Latakia.
