The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the phenomena of kidnapping for collecting ransoms is increasing, in conjunction with the security chaos in the areas of Daraa, and in this context, sources informed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that unknown body kidnapped a young man from Nahteh town in Daraa countryside and asked his family to pay a ransom in return for release him, while other unidentified persons tried to kidnap 2 young men from Al-Karak Al-Sharqi town, while they were crossing rural highways as they were coming back from Al-Suwaidaa, where they managed to escape while one of them sustained cuts and traumas as he jumped off the vehicle of the kidnappers, thus, it rose to more than 148, the number of attacks and assassination attempts took place in various forms and methods by detonating bombs, mines, booby-trapped cars, and firing with light and medium weapons, since June 2019 until this day, raising to 102, the number of people killed in the same period of time, they are 11 civilians including 2 women and a child, 55 of the regime forces and militiamen. loyal to them and collaborators of the security forces and regime institutions, 20 fighters of the faction who carried out “reconciliation and settlements” and became in the ranks of regime’s security branches, including former commanders, and of the 11 Syrian militias of the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian forces, in addition to 5 of what is known as the 5th Corps which was established by Russia.
