SDF withdraw from Amuda villages in accordance with the Russian – Turkish agreement as Russian military vehicles head to al-Hasakah – Aleppo highway

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the withdrawal of the Syria Democratic Forces from Sanjak Saadoun village and other villages in Amuda area at the border with Turkey, in accordance with the Russian – Turkish agreement that states SDF should withdraw to a distance of 32 km deep in the area, amid expectation for more withdrawals from other areas in accordance with the agreement, the Observatory also monitored the passage of Russian military vehicles from Ayn Issa town on Sunday morning, the vehicles headed to al-Hasakah – Aleppo highway known as the M4 road. And in the same context, the cautious calm prevails the contact areas in the vicinity of Ayn Issa after clashes in the area during the night hours, while clashes are taking place between the regime forces and the Syria Democratic Forces against the Turkey-loyal factions, in places within Abu Rasin area in the area connecting Tal Tamr and Ras al-Ayn, in conjunction with the continued deployment of the regime forces in the area, while the Turkey-loyal factions are still about 10 km away of Tal Tamr town.

The Syrian Observatory published yesterday Saturday that the violent clashes continue between the Syria Democratic Forces against the Turkey-loyal factions, in areas south of Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) accompanied by intensive shelling on villages located in the area, which prompted tens of families to flee out of fear of this heavy shelling, also clashes continue between both parties in areas between Tal Tamr and Ras al-Ayn, amid advancement by the factions and their control of new villages in the area there, and the shelling and clashes left more casualties in the ranks of both parties, and in the same context, a booby-trapped motorcycle exploded in Ayn al-Arous village which is controlled by the Turkey-loyal factions in Tal Abyad town north of al-Raqqah, causing casualties and injuries.
