The regime forces arrive in al-Darbasiyah at the border with Turkey for the first time in 7 years, and Turkey-loyal factions control “Tal Thiab” village and remove the flag from regime’s headquarters and step on it with feet in Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) countryside
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the arrival of the regime forces to al-Darbasiyah city in the northern countryside of al-Hasakah this evening at the border with Turkey, in accordance with the Russian – Turkish agreement which states that the Syria Democratic Forces must withdraw to 32 km deep, and this is the first time the regime forces enter Darbasiyah in seven years, after they left it on the 10th of November 2012.
In conjunction with this, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the “Syrian National Army” controlling “Tal Thiab” village east of Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani), where the Observatory obtained a video showing a person identified himself to be part of the 2nd Corps of the “National Army”, where he declared the control of the village and that the Syrian regime’s flag was raised on one of the headquarters of the Syria Democratic Forces, which he described as “one of the headquarters of Kurdistan Workers’ Party “, while his companions chanted “Allahu Akbar” while the first member was removing the Syrian flag, throwing it on the ground, and stepping over it with his foot.
The Syrian Observatory just published that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the entry of the regime forces to Dahrat al-Arab village, and they established a security point and positioned inside the village near the Syrian – Turkish border north of al-Hasakah; on the road of Ras al-Ayn – al-Darbasiyah.
At the same time, villages of Ras al-Ayn city are witnessing violent clashes, where the Turkey-loyal factions are trying to advance towards the villages of Om Eshbeh and Om al-Khair, while the Syria Democratic Forces stopped an infiltration operation, which killed tens of people until now.
