In conjunction with the Russian warplanes’ absence for 15 hours .. areas of the eastern countryside of Idlib witness clashes and an infiltration attempt by the regime forces

The “de-escalation” zone has been witnessing cautious calm since midnight of Monday – Tuesday, interrupted by exchange of targeting by shells and heavy machineguns, between the regime forces against the factions, in the frontlines in both southern and eastern countryside of Idlib, also the factions managed to thwart an infiltration operation by the regime forces to the factions’ positions in the area of Al-Kherbah in Abu Al-Duhur countryside in the eastern countryside of Idlib, where clashes erupted between the both parties and ended with the withdrawal of the regime forces’ members just before midnight, while the Russian warplanes have been absent from the skies of the “de-escalation” zone since yesterday afternoon for about 15 hours.

And the SOHR monitored yesterday, shelling carried out today evening by the regime ground forces targeting the areas of Kafr Sajna and Maarrat Hurmah in the southern countryside of Idlib, in conjunction with the overflight of a reconnaissance drone in the skies of the area, and the SOHR documented during this day, the death of 3 fighters of the rebel factions and the injury of 2 others, due to bombardment by the Russian warplanes on Kafr Nubl town in the southern countryside of Idlib, while the Russian warplanes renewed the bombing on the “de-escalation” area targeting Hazarin town in the southern countryside of Idlib, in conjunction with the flight of reconnaissance drones over the area, where this comes in the context of the continuous Russian escalation since the 16th of October 2019.
