More than 75 casualties of the regime forces and the jihadi groups in 5 consecutive days of shelling an fierce battles in Latakia Mountains

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the death of 16 members of the regime forces including 2 lieutenant officers while 9 members of the jihadi factions were killed in the past 48 hours due to renewed clashes between the Islamic and jihadi factions on one hand, and the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on the other, in the area of Kabani in Jabal Al-Akrad, in an attempt of advancement carried out by the latter on positions of the former for the 5th consecutive day, while the factions managed to damage a military bulldozer, amid artillery shelling and targeting on the positions of control in Latakia countryside, while the SOHR documented during the first 3 days of the attack on Latakia countryside, the killing of more than 50 persons including 30 members of the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them, and 21 members of the factions and jihadi groups, also the Russian warplanes bombarded Idlib countryside targeting Kansafra in Jabal Al-Zawiya, Hazarin, Rakaya Sajna and Maar Zita in the southern countryside of Idlib, after being absent for about 20 hours from the skies of the “de-escalation” zone, and the SOHR monitored artillery shelling by the regime forces on Kafr Sajna, Maarrat Hurmah, Rakaya and Um Al-Sir in the southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, as well as Kabani area in the northern countryside of Latakia, without information about casualties.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4310, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 29th of October 2019, and they are: 1095 civilians including 268 children and 195 citizen women, and they are 230 including 44 children and 43 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 88 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 542 including 155 children, 92 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 148 people including 26 women and 25children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 81 citizens including 26 children and 15 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1741 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1144 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1481 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 27th of October 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4839 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1374 civilians including 349 children under the age of eighteen and 259 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 107 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 19 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1827 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1179 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1638 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5070 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1457 civilians including 378 children and 273 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 108 people including 31 children and 20 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1894 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1281 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1721 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
