The Russians and the Turks hold a meeting at al-Darbasiyah crossing to agree on a mechanism for coordinating joint patrols in preparation for their launch tomorrow

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Russian and Turkish sides held a meeting this morning in Darbasiyah crossing area, where both parties discussed the mechanism of coordination between them to run joint patrols in the area, and according to what the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned, the Russians and the Turks agreed to start joint patrols in the area from tomorrow, where it was agreed on the areas from which these patrols will be launched in addition to the mechanism vehicle, in preparation to launch them after they were postponed over the past 2 days, sources from the leadership of the Syria Democratic Forces justified it as an attempt to pressure them to accept regime’s conditions, especially after recent American moves and the American military reinforcements brought to the area, as well as the decision of the U.S. House of Representatives to impose sanctions on Turkey.
