A Week after regime forces’ failed attacks on a Kabani, Jihadi groups and factions carry out a counterattack on several areas in Latakia mountains with intense and violent firepower

Violent clashes broke out in areas at Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, in an attack carried out by the jihadi factions on positions of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them in Kabani area and several other places in the area, the attack was accompanied by heavy artillery and missile shelling by the regime forces on the clash areas, while the factions carried out infiltration operations in positions of the regime forces in Ayn al-Qantra, Tallat Aby Asaad, Ketf Sando, and Tal al-Hadadah in Latakia countryside, where the factions are taking advantage of the bad weather conditions in Latakia countryside which hinders the movement of the air force, also the rebel and Islamic factions targeted Qal’aat Shalf and location of the regime forces in Latakia countryside and Jurin Camp in Sahl al-Ghab, this comes after a week of attacks and failed attempts by the regime forces on Kabani area, in which more than 90 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them and the jihadi organizations were killed.

And the “de-escalation” area witnessed the absence of Russian warplanes since Thursday until the morning, while the relative calm prevails interrupted by the fall of shells from time to time on the contact points within the 4 sectors of the “de-escalation” area, where the regime forces shelled last night and this morning Hish, Ma’aret Hurmah, Kafrsajna, Sheikh Mustafa, Arinbeh, Sheikh Damis, Tahtaya and Om Jalal in the southern and eastern countryside of Idlib, and Ghazal Square in the northern countryside of Hama, and in the same context, the Islamic factions shelled positions of the regime forces in al-Karakat in the northern countryside of Hama, coincided with sporadic clashes between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against the Islamic factions, but no information about casualties.
