Against the backdrop of targeting security detachments and regime’s agents .. a large campaign of arrests carried out by the regime’s intelligence against tens of young men in the northern countryside of Homs

Homs Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the regime’s intelligence carried out a campaign of arrests during the October 2019, in the towns of the northern countryside of Homs, during which tens of young men were arrested, and according to the sources of the SOHR the regime’s intelligence has arrested about 20 persons from Al-Houla city in the northern countryside of Homs, against the backdrop of accusing some of them of killing one of the regime’s agents in early October 2019, while others were arrested against the backdrop of cases of killing members of the regime forces, during the factions’ control over the areas of the northern countryside of Homs, separately, unidentified persons wrote phrases on walls in Al-Houla city read “Al-Hamza company returns, O agents of the regime, wait for us”, and in connection to this, unidentified armed members targeted a headquarters belong to the “State Security” Branch in Al-Rastan city, where the headquarters was targeted by grenades and individual weapons, and as a result, the regime’s security branches have carried out a campaign of raids and arrests targeted about 35 young men from Al-Rastan, most of them were former fighters in the ranks of the factions of those who struck reconciliation and settlement deals, after being accused of targeting the “State Security” headquarters of the regime.
