Members of regime’s NDF in al-Mayadin city kill a citizen east of Deir Ezzor after a dispute with him over sharing profits of “smuggling operations” in the area

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed by reliable sources that a group of NDF members of the regime in al-Mayadin city east of Deir Ezzor; killed a young civilian of the city, and in the details obtained by the Syrian Observatory: the young man works with the NDF militia in smuggling goods and civilians between areas of the Syria Democratic Forces and regime’s areas in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, the sources added that a dispute occurred between NDF members and the victim about sharing the money of the joint smuggling operations between them, where members of the National Defense fired several bullets at him which killed him, and then they dumped his body in the Euphrates River, where people in the area informed relatives of the victim to get him out of the river.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 29th of October 2019 that in the shadow of the chaos of spreading of weapons throughout the controlled areas of the Syrian regime, especially in the possession of people who fought in the ranks of the militias and ally forces affiliated to the regime, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a family disagreement over a farmland in Al-Sanidah village in the eastern countryside of Hama, developed to hand-fighting, then to fighting by using weapons between the fighting families, which resulted in the killing of a member of the regime’s militias.
