Turkish forces and loyalist factions launch a violent attack on “Mahmudiya”, SDF withdraws “Qasimia”

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned this evening that Turkish forces and the Syrian opposition factions launched an attack on the village of Mahmudiya in the countryside of Tal Tamr and Abu Rasin, with 12 tanks and armored vehicles, forcing the Syrian Democratic Forces to withdraw from it under the weight of Turkish bombardment, where it withdrew to “Qasimiya”. “Mahmudiya” is now under the Turkish control. The SOHR also observed attempts by the SDF to restore “Souda”, where it launched a violent attack on the Turkish-backed factions.
The Syrian Observatory published a few days ago that the clashes between the SDF and the National Army factions are still going on in the villages of Sakiru, Mas’oudia, Umm Baramil and Shirakrak in East Ain Issa, as they are witnessing violent clashes in an attempt by the National Army factions to block the international road M4.
The Syrian Observatory recently observed that the SDF thwarted an attempt by the National Army to storm the villages of Sakiru, Mas’oudia and Umm Baramil in east of Ain Issa in order to control it and block the M4 international road. The SDF destroyed an armored vehicle belonging to the Syrian opposition factions loyal to Turkey, which resulted in the death of those inside, and did not incur any damage to the SDF material or loss of life.
According to the “Syrian Observatory”, these attempts have been going on since this morning, and clashes are still going on until the moment.
