Factions of the “National Army” in Tal Abyad assault an elderly man and his wife and break the wife’s fingers while stealing her golden jewelry

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a new violation by the Syrian opposition factions loyal to Turkey, where the Observatory monitored an assault by the “Syrian National Army” factions which are participating in “Peace Spring” operation in Tal Abyad, where the Syrian Observatory learned that Turkey-loyal factions attacked the 80 years old citizen, Darwish Mohammad, and his 60 years old wife, they are from al-Jern village of Tal Abyad, where they were assaulted on the main road between Tal Abyad and al-Raqqah.

Informed sources said that “after they were stopped, they were beaten, then their car which they were riding was stolen, and the wife was robbed where they stole her golden rings she was wearing by force, which broke her fingers while they were stealing those rings, they also took the earrings from her ears and 6 golden bracelets, and a sum of 80000 Syrian pounds, then they were left in the open and forced to return on foot more than 3 kilometers to reach the nearest populated area.”
