Security checkpoint of “regime’s intelligence” arrests university student in Daraa city in the Syrian south

Daraa Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that a security checkpoint of “regime’s intelligence” arrested a university student from Daraa city, and he was taken to the regime’s security branches without knowing the reasons.

The Syrian Observatory published on the 1st of November 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the members of a checkpoint of the regime’s intelligence in Kharbat Ghazala town in the northern countryside of Daraa, have arrested a female university student while passing through the checkpoint, without revealing the reasons, and the student is descended from Da’el city in the western countryside of Daraa, and the SOHR published on the 25th of October 2019, that regime’s security and intelligence branches carried out new raids in Daraa al-Mahatta in Daraa city on Friday morning, where several people were arrested but without knowing the reasons until the moment, followed by closing the roads in the area by the residents demanding the release of detainees, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 23rd of October 2019 that it learned that the regime arrested one of the person of Naseeb town, and confiscated the contents of the cafeteria, followed by break in by residents and relatives of the young man for Nasib border crossing and tearing up pictures of Bashar al-Assad and destroying contents of the crossing of devices and furniture, the regime forces then released the young man in a poor health condition.
