U.S. Forces run a Military Patrol in the Syrian – Iraqi – Turkish Triangle Border

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a military patrol of the U.S. Forces roam in the area of the Syrian – Iraqi – Turkish triangle border, where the patrol was launched from Jnidiyyeh village in Rmelan countryside until the fields of al-Swidiyyeh and Kerziro and Qara Chok area, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday that the American Forces are preparing to establish a new military base in Zagat / Yanbou’ in the Malkiyyeh countryside on the road of the Simalka crossing, at the Turkish – Iraqi – Syrian triangle, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published 2 days ago that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented today evening, a patrol of U.S. forces roaming near the Turkish border near Ayn Diwar village of Al-Malikiyah city (Dayrik).

The patrol took Al-Siyasi Road adjacent to the Turkish border passing by Smilka crossing point.

Sources of SOHR said that the U.S. patrol was escorted by a vehicle of Syria Democratic Forces.

On the 2nd of November 2019, SOHR published that it monitored the arrival of a patrol of the U.S. Forces in Himo village which is about 4 km away of Qameshly city to the west, and also a few kilometers away of the Syrian – Turkish border, where the patrol roamed the village that already has a U.S. military base, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights published this morning that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information that the U.S. Forces are in the process of establishing a new military post in Qameshly, and according to the information of the Syrian Observatory, the point will be established during today, Saturday, where the U.S. Forces will go from al-Hasakah towards al-Qameshly to work on establishing a permanent point there, and with the withdrawals of the Syria Democratic Forces in accordance with the Russian – Turkish agreement, the control began to become clear day by day, where the area extending from Qameshly to Ayn Diwar became under the U.S. influence, the area extending from Qameshly to Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) and from Tal Abyad to Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) under Russian influence, and the area extending from Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) to Tal Abyad is under the Turkish influence and its loyalist factions, at a time when areas of Abu Rasin and Tal Tamr  countryside until Ras al-Ayn are witnessing renewed clashes between the SDF against Ankara-loyal factions just like the area between Ayn Issa and Tal Abyad.

On the 1st of November 2019, SOHR published that the Russian – Turkish patrol ended its first tour at the border with Turkey in the country of Amuda and al-Darbasiyah, and in the details monitored by the Observatory for the first patrol of the Russian – Turkish agreement: the patrol set off from Shirik village in al-Darbasiyah countryside and toured the patrol in villages of al-Darbasiyah, and other villages of Amuda about 10 km deep but Without entering al-Darbasiyah or Amuda towns, sources of the Syrian Observatory reported that residents of several villages received the patrol by throwing vegetables and garbage at them, to express their rejection of the Turkish – Russian agreement, before the patrol returned to its starting center in Shirik village and from there to the Turkish territory.
