Barrel bombs target Latakia countryside in conjunction with about 40 airstrikes on “Putin – Erdogan” area

In the same context, the Russian warplanes bombarded several areas south of Idlib city, and the Syrian Observatory published this afternoon that Russian “guarantor’s” warplanes continue their intensive bombardment on the “de-escalation” area, as part of escalating the airstrikes since the beginning of this month at the most severe pace since the new ceasefire at the end of August 2019, where it rose to 23 at least, the number of raids carried out by the Russian warplanes since after midnight until the moment, targeting places in Hass and its surroundings, outskirts of Benin, Maarzita, Ma’aret Hurmah, Serja, Sheikh Mustafa, and Maarrat al-Nu’man in the southern countryside of Idlib, and Kafr Halab in the western countryside of Aleppo, and no information about casualties yet, and the Syrian Observatory published this morning that as the media is busy with the Turkish military operation, “Peace Spring” north and northeast of Syria and the repercussions of the Turkish – Russian agreements there; the Syrian regime’s warplanes and the Russian “guarantor’s” warplanes returned to escalate their bombing on “Putin – Erdogan” area, causing massacres and more destruction , where regime’s warplanes resumed their bombardment on the 4th of November for the first time since mid-September 2019, while the Russian warplanes preceded them and stepped up their bombing on the area since mid-October 2019, for the first time since the new ceasefire started at the end of August 2019, but the past few days have seen the biggest escalation in the past 70 days.

Since the second of this month, the Russian “guarantor’s” warplanes carried out more than 125 air strikes targeting several areas in Idlib province, the western countryside of Aleppo, and Mountains of Latakia, but the vast majority of the strikes targeted Idlib, and the intensive strikes killed 16 civilians including 5 children and 3 women, they are 7 civilians including 2 women and a child were killed in a massacre committed by the Russian warplanes on al-Sahara village in the western countryside of Aleppo, and 6 civilians mostly of the same family including a child and a woman; were killed in a massacre carried out by Russian warplanes that targeted Jabbala village in the southern countryside of Idlib, and 3 children of the same family who are displaced from al-Lataminah city; were killed by Russian warplanes on the residential neighborhoods of al-Dar al-Kabira village in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the death toll is expected to rise because there are some people in critical situation, while the Russian warplanes targeted yesterday a hospital for “children” in Shnan village in Jabal al-Zawiyah, which caused great destruction and put it out of service.

Russian airstrikes also killed 13 fighters of the rebel and Islamic factions, and they are 7 fighters of the National Liberation Front killed in targeting by the Russian warplanes for their positions in al-Mshirfah village in the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man city, 3 members of “Jaysh al-Izza” faction were killed in Russian raid targeted one of their military points in al-Naqir area in the southern countryside of Idlib, and 3 fighters of al-Sham Corps were killed in bombing by Russian warplanes on Marshourin village in Idlib countryside.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4384, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 7th of November 2019, and they are: 1115 civilians including 275 children and 199 citizen women, and they are 251 including 50 children and 46 women, and 8 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 88 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 547 including 156 children, 93 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 148 people including 26 women and 25 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 81 citizens including 26 children and 15 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1762 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1149 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1507 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 7th of November 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 4910 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1398 civilians including 356 children under the age of eighteen and 263 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 107 people including 31 children under the age of eighteen and 19 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1848 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1184 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1664 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5143 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1481 civilians including 385 children and 277 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 108 people including 31 children and 20 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1915 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1286 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1747 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
