Russian – Turkish Forces end their 4th patrol in the Syrian north with constant resentment among the people by throwing stones and shoes in al-Darbasiyah countryside

The Turkish Forces and their Russian counterpart ended the 4th joint patrol in the areas north and northeast of Syria, where the new patrol roamed today the southern and southwestern countryside of al-Darbasiyah in the villages of Turat, Terbeh, Karakand, Barkfra, al-Ghannamiyyah, al-Qermaniyyeh, Salam Alik and other villages, after that they returned to the starting point in Shirik then to the Turkish territory, and sources of the Syrian Observatory reported that residents of the villages where the patrol roamed threw stones, rotten vegetables, and shoes, in a scene repeated with the roam of joint patrols as an expression by the citizens for their rejection of the Russian – Turkish agreement, and the Syrian Observatory published this afternoon that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the launch of the 4th joint Russian – Turkish patrol in areas north and northeast of Syria, where the patrol started from the border village of Shirik in al-Darbasiyah countryside and roamed villages located to the west and southwest of Darbasiyah. The patrol consists of 6 Russian vehicles and the same of the Turkish vehicles, where the Russian Forces put barbed wire on their vehicles in addition to armoring them more, after the stone and shoe throwing that the patrols were exposed to in the last 3 patrols, and the Syrian Observatory published this morning that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights received information about starting a joint Russian – Turkish patrol today, Monday, the 11th of November 2019, and according to the Observatory’s information, the patrol will roam Darbasiyah countryside area for the second time after the first patrol that roamed Darbasiyah countryside and Amuda this month, while the Syrian Observatory published on Sunday that Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned from reliable sources that 5 Russian military vehicles arrived today morning in Al-Darbasiyah, where 3 of them left to the west of Al-Darbasiyah via the road to Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani).

The patrol reached Sherik village where they met there with the Turkish forces, without information about what was going on, sources of the Syrian Observatory said that the Russian patrol returned to Delek village which is located at a distance of 11 km west of Al-Darbasiyah, the sources added “the 2 other vehicles entered via the road to Al-Hasakah, towards the southern countryside of Al-Darbasiyah city, where they carry out tours there as if they are searching for something, check out everything, and their movements are not normal.
