After beheading 2 NDF members west of Euphrates, ISIS continues its increased activity and assassinates a priest of the Armenian Catholic Church with his father east Euphrates

In light of the increased activities of the “Islamic State” organization on both banks of Euphrates within areas of control of the regime forces and SDF, members of the organization’s cells assassinated the priest of the Armenian Catholic Church in Qameshly, where the assassination was carried out by shooting from machinegun on the priest and his father in al-Zerr village in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, as they headed to Deir Ezzor city to oversee the restoration of a church there coming from al-Hasakah, the attackers also confiscated ID papers of the priest including his identification card which facilitate his movement on the checkpoints within the areas, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 9th of this month that 2 bodies were found behead on the international road near al-Boleel town in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, and according to the Syrian Observatory, the bodies belong to members from al-Mayadin city, who volunteered in the ranks of rh regime-loyal NDF.
