In 165 days of escalating attacks and assassinations in Daraa Province, 164 killing operations claimed the lives of 120 people of the regime forces, their allies, and civilians

Several areas in the eastern countryside of Daraa city are witnessing a continuous alert of the regime forces and their security branches, against the background of the armed attack on checkpoint of the military intelligence between the towns of Om Elmiathin and Gharaz, in light of the very high increase of targeting and assassinations, where they become a daily scene all over Daraa province and hardly a day goes by without an assassination attempt or an armed attack, whether in the eastern countryside of it which is controlled by the Iranians and the gunmen loyal to it, or the western countryside of it which is mostly controlled by the Russians, the 4^th Division, and the 5^th Corps established by Russia, and these operations target members of “reconciliations and settlements”, the regime forces, militia of the Lebanese Hezbollah, the Iranians, the Fifth Corps, and informants and collaborators of the regime forces.

These operations cast a shadow on the Syrian civilians, causing fear, terror, and panic which push the people to carry out demonstrations against those in control of Daraa, whether the regime forces or its Russian and Iranian allies, expressing their displeasure with the security chaos that is spreading in the south of Syria, at a time when the regime forces tighten their security grip on civilians only, through arbitrary arrests, scrutiny, and harassment on the checkpoints which are spread throughout the province, in addition to the raids, not to mention the low living situation and the difficult living conditions of Daraa people, in the past few days, the Syrian Observatory monitored several demonstrations in Daraa city and the towns and villages of Tal Shihab, Ajami, Zayzoun, al-Mzyrib, Yadudeh, Tafas, al-Sanamin, and al-Shajra in Daraa countryside.

And the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented more than 164, the number of attacks and assassination attempts took place in various forms and methods by detonating bombs, mines, booby-trapped cars, and firing with light and medium weapons, since June 2019 until this day, raising to 119, the number of people killed in the same period of time, they are 15 civilians including 2 women and a child, 62 of the regime forces and militiamen. loyal to them and collaborators of the security forces and regime institutions, 23 fighters of the faction who carried out “reconciliation and settlements” and became in the ranks of regime’s security branches, including former commanders, and of the 14 Syrian militias of the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian forces, in addition to 6 of what is known as the 5th Corps which was established by Russia.
