Casualties and injuries in the explosion of the “fuel” warehouse of the Turkey-loyal faction of “Sultan Murad Division” in Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani)

Al-Hasaka Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the sound of powerful explosions was heard last night in Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani) city, which is controlled by the Turkish Forces and their loyal factions northwest of al-Hasaka province, it turned out to be caused by the explosion of a warehouse of stolen stuff of the Turkish-backed “Sultan Murad Division” faction, contains fuel stolen from civilian homes in Ras al-Ayn by members of the faction and assembled in the warehouse where the explosion took place, amid confirmed information about casualties and injuries of members of the “Sultan Murad,” and the Syrian Observatory published on the 12th of November 2019 that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned via reliable sources, that members of the pro-Turkey Syrian opposition factions, started to house their families in the civilians’ houses in Ras Al-Ayn area (Sere Kaniye), after owners of these houses flee the Turkish military operation “Peace Spring”.

“As the Turkish military operation began, violations started against the citizens who remained in Ras Al-Ayn, where the Turkey-loyal factions started to loot the citizens’ property, in addition to the kidnapping of citizens for collecting ransoms from their families in return for releasing them” reliable sources said.

“The violations carried out by the pro-Turkey factions included a demographic change in Tal Abyad city, through housing the families of the factions’ members in houses of people forcibly displaced from the city” the sources added.

Members of the Turkish-backed factions have been confiscating the houses of Kurdish citizens in the city and allocated a numbe houses of Kurds in Al-Mahattah northern neighborhood, including the house of Jamil Al-Ali Qarkij, where they housed their families in the civilians’ houses, according to reliable sources.

“The Turkish forces and factions loyal to them, carry out the most heinous violations against the civilians, where the city became as if being a jungle full of predators, Turkey tries to change the city demographically by imposing its control over the Kurds’ houses, and writing the names of members of their loyal factions in order to allocate these houses and prevent the Kurds from returning to them” the sources added.
