“Children’s pictures and household items…” sources reveal stolen stuff of the Turkey-loyal factions from civilians’ homes in “Tal Halaf” market

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights obtained the testimony of one of the citizens who went to “al-Akrad market” in Tal Halaf in Ras al-Ayn (Sari Kani), in which the Syrian Observatory previously revealed that it is being used for selling goods, stolen by members of the Turkey-loyal factions of the “Peace Spring” operation; from homes of civilians who fled them fearing the repercussions of the Turkish military operation. And according to the source’s testimony, “these members gather and steal the goods and stuff and put them in one house, then they transport the stolen stuff through large trucks to Tal Halaf, after this town next to Ras al-Ayn has become the largest commercial market in the area under the sight of the Turkish army and its soldiers.”

And the source continued in his testimony to the Syrian Observatory: “they sell the stolen items at a very cheap price, when I went to that market, I saw household items being sold on the streets, and among these items pictures of Kurdish children and families, they are destroying our graves, memories, and everything that belongs to us in the area, it’s the real Nazi, and the Sultan without any morals and publicly announces a plan to settle 2 million Syrian refugees from different Syrian areas in that area, in order to change the demographics of the area and end the Kurdish presence forever, if the Sultan succeeds in his plan with international complicity, then we will face the biggest disaster and the greatest demographic change in the middle east, this sordid scheme should not go through, and the Syrians should know that the entire area will be witnessing major disasters because of these policies, they must not stand doing nothing if they want the common life between the Syrians, the silence of the Syrian elites is very suspicious, except for some intellectuals who know the implications of this in the future.”
