Rif Dimashq Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the “regime forces” reopened the mAyn road of Darayya city from its east side, which connects it to Sahnaya city, al-Ashrafyyeh, and Jdaydet Artouz, and reliable sources told the Syrian Observatory that a joint checkpoint of regime’s intelligence and the 4th Division, began since the early hours of opening the road to impose 1000 Syrian pounds on every person who wants to enter the city, as an “road opening gift” as they described (payed to the checkpoint), and according to information of the Syrian Observatory, the access of civilian to Darayya city is linked to the cards issued by Rif Dimashq Province Council, which is a card that grants them their entry into their homes in the city, after the residents were officially prevented from entering the city for nearly three years; after the factions left it towards the Syrian north, and without the card regime’s checkpoints do not allow the entry to the city, local sources told the “Syrian Observatory” that only 7% of the original inhabitants of Darayya city have entered it, and the reason is the complicated procedures of regime’s “security agencies in obtAyning the approval card to enter the city, which is done by waiting for a long time in the office of Rif Dimashq Province Council, and after the card is issued they go to the Branch 235 known as “Filastin” Branch, to conduct a security investigation for long hours with the person wishing to return in order to seal the card, in addition to the complete lack of services from the city, the presence of massive destruction of residential buildings, and the difficulty of restoration by residents because of imposing royalties by regime’s checkpoints on the residents in case they want to enter building materials, it is worth mentioning that the regime forces allowed residents to enter the city officially for the first time, where they were allowed in and out of the city only for certAyn hours earlier, except for some inhabited buildings from al-Basil Roundabout at the entrance of the city until al-Ziyara Hospital, where officers from the 4th Division and some members of the regime forces and their families are living in Darayya city.
