Gunmen target members of the intelligence by RPG shells in conjunction with an attack on security centers in Daraa countryside

The town of Al-Hara in the northern countryside of Daraa is witnessing clashes between members of the military detachment of the regime forces on one hand, and gunmen believed to be of the “Popular Resistance” one the other.

While clashes broke out in Al-Sanamayn city between the popular committees against the factions of former Free Army, without information about casualties so far.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that a member of the military intelligence branch, was injured after targeting by an RPG shell to a security checkpoint near Al-Sahwa area in the eastern countryside of Daraa.

This is the third targeting with using RPG shells against members of the regime’s intelligence in Daraa countryside.

SOHR published short time ago, that unidentified gunmen targeted 2 houses of members of the military intelligence branch in Al-Sanamayn city.

The targeting was carried out by using RPG shells, according to sources, while the damage was limited to material only.

Thus, the number of attacks and assassination attempts in various forms and methods through the detonation of IEDs, mines, booby-trapped vehicles and shooting during the period between last June to the present day, rose to more than 172 attempts, while the number of those killed and died in those attempts during the same period rose to 120, they are: 15 civilians, including two females and a child, in addition to 62 of regime forces, their affiliates and collaborators with the security forces, 23 faction fighters who have conducted “reconciliation” and are now among the security forces, including former seniors and 14 Syrian militia men affiliated with Lebanese Hezbollah and the Iranian forces, in addition to 6 fighters of the so-called “Fifth Corps” which was established by Russia.
