After SDF regained control of 2 villages in Al-Raqqah countryside .. Turkey-loyal factions carry out a counterattack in several areas
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored that the pro-Turkey factions carried out an attack on positions of Syria Democratic Forces in the villages of Hurriyah and Jurn west of Tal Abyad, in conjunction with exchange artillery and rocket shelling on their positions.
Sources told SOHR that clashes are underway in areas of Hurriyah and Jurn villages west of Tal Abyad in the northern countryside of Al-Raqqah, in addition to fierce attack by the pro-Turkey factions on Abu Kharzah village in an attempt by the factions to advance and take control of these villages.
SOHR monitored intense shelling by the Turkish forces that targeted the villages of “Birtmah” and “Sa’dah” which came under control of SDF today evening, without information about the amount of casualties so far.
The Syrian Observatory published today that the places between Abu Rasin area and Tal Tamr town are witnessing clashes of varying violence, between the Syria Democratic Forces and the regime forces against the Turkey-loyal factions, where the Syria Democratic Forces are trying to keep the factions away from Tal Tamr, at a time when the factions are trying to encircle Tal Tamr from 3 areas in order to go deep in it, and the clashes are accompanied by an intense exchange of shelling and targeting, in addition to airstrikes by the Turkish drones on the clash areas, while a member of the regime forces was killed and another was injured in shelling and clashes, also more members and fighters were killed and injuries of SDF and Ankara-loyal factions.
The Syrian Observatory published hours ago that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the decline of clashes in areas of Tal Tamer- Abu Rasin after midnight of yesterday, where it is now limited to exchange of targeting suing heavy machine guns and shells, between Turkey-loyal factions agAynst forces of the Syriac and Assyrian Military Councils, which are part of the Syria Democratic Forces on Friday morning, after SDF managed to keep the factions away for about 4 km north of Tal Tamr during the evening hours, however, fears to spread among the Assyrian-majority residents of Tal Tamr, where the displacement from the area continues largely especially among the Assyrians, and according to the Syrian Observatory’s information, the Assyrian families have almost entirely displaced from Tal Tamr town, except for the elderly people who preferred to stay, in light of attacks by the factions in order to go deep in Tal Tamr, which come with Turkish air support via drones as well as intensive and violent ground shelling.
