Russian military patrol roam villages southwest of Darbasiyah and meets with Turkish Forces inside territory of the latter

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned that the Russian patrol which was launched Sunday morning from Amuda area went to the border with Turkey in the villages of Arad and Shirik, where it entered the Turkish territory and met with Turkish soldiers there, then the patrol returned to the Syrian territory and roamed the villages of Terbeh, Ta’lak, Korkend, and Bereket Harb southwest of al-Darbasiyah, amid flight of a Russian warplanes in skies of the area when the patrol was roaming, but it was not known at the moment what is the Russian patrol’s destination, whether it will return to its starting point or whether it will go to Abu Rasin (Zarkan) area, and the Syrian Observatory published yesterday evening that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the continued cautious calm in the contact areas in Tal Tamr countryside, between the Turkey-loyal factions against the Syria Democratic Forces and the regime forces, amid anticipation for the implementation of the agreement that took place yesterday regarding the town, and in the same context, the Syrian Observatory learned that a Russian military patrol is now heading to Darbasiyah city coming from Amuda, but it is not yet known why it came to Darbasiyah, whether it will continue towards Abu Rasin area and Tal Tamr, or is there a joint patrol to roam the area today, and the Syrian Observatory published Saturday evening that the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights learned today that an agreement reached between Syria Democratic Forces on one hand, and the regime forces and Russian forces on the other, to hand in “Tal Tamr” to the Russian forces to be under its trusteeship, and the regime forces and Russian forces to be deployed in it.

Reliable sources told SOHR that the clashes are almost halted currently in “Tal Tamr”, “the agreement stipulated the withdrawal of Turkey-loyal factions from some villages until the outskirts of Ras Al-Ayn, and the withdrawal from the International Highway M4, with the deployment of regime forces in these areas, it was expected that a Russian patrol to be conducted in Tal Tamr today, but it was postponed until tomorrow” the sources added.

The sources confirmed that there are new agreements reached, but they will be announce about tomorrow, “members of the Russian forces were in Tal Tamr and left to Al-Qamishli short time ago” the sources added.
