In response to the massacres in Idlib .. Islamic factions shell neighborhoods in Aleppo city

The Islamic factions shelled neighborhoods in Aleppo city which is under control of the regime forces, by heavy artillery.

They targeted places in the local market as well as the neighborhoods of Al-Shahbaa, Al-Khalidiyah, Nile Street, the 3000-Apartment Project in Al-Hamdania, in a response to the massacres committed by the regime forces and the Russian “guarantor” in Idlib.

No information was reported about casualties caused by the faction’s shelling.

In connection to this, the rebel factions targeted by an artillery shell, a bulwark of a 12.7 machinegun affiliated to the regime forces in the area of Jam’eyyat Al-Zahraa neighborhood in the western countryside of Aleppo.

SOHR targeted raids by the Russian warplanes targeting Al-Serj village, Um Al-Khalkhil, Al-Mshirfah, Tal AL-Nar, Kafrumah, Maar Zita and Maarrat Al-Nu’man, in the southern and south-eastern countryside of Idlib, as well as Khan Tuman in the southern countryside of Aleppo, bringing the number of their raids since morning to 50.

In the same context, the regime’s warplanes targeted by 4 raids, places in the area of Kabani in Latakia countryside, and Al-Sermaniyyah in the north-western countryside of Hama.

Meanwhile, helicopters dropped barrel bombs on Kafr Sajnah and Basqala in the southern countryside of Idlib, and the area of Kabani in Latakia countryside, raising their number to 22.

Also the regime ground forces fired about 410 shells and missiles targeting the eastern countryside of Idlib during the advancement and after retreat from Al-Mshirfah village, in addition to shelling on areas in the southern countryside of Idlib, Qah Camp north of Idlib, the north-western countryside of Hama, and Latakia countryside.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights has documented a spike in death toll in the bombardment by warplanes on Marraat Al-Nu’man city to 6 including 4 children, it also documented the death of a citizen due to Russian bombardment on Jbala town.

SOHR also documented today, that the number of casualties who were killed in rocket shelling by the regime forces stationed in Aleppo countryside, increased to 15 including 6 children and 2 women, while tens others were injured due to the cluster bombs that targeted Qah camp and the vicinity of the Women Hospital.
