“Public Security” in Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) releases 2 activists of the city after investigating them
The “Public Security” in Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) city released 2 activists of the city after arresting them yesterday, Wednesday, where the Syrian Observatory learned that the release came after they were interrogated by the General Security in Ayn al-Arab, where sources in the “Public Security” said that they were arrested because they took pictures of positions of the Syria Democratic Forces in locations on the front lines, and the then they sold them to media outlets loyal to Turkish-backed factions, and the Syrian Observatory published on the 4th of October 2019 that a verbal altercation took place in one of the cement and iron establishments in Memit village south Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) city, between a worker in the establishment and a Turkish commander of Kurdistan Workers’ Party, but no Islamic factions until now whether the verbal altercation was caused by corruption cases involving the commander, or if it was an arrogant from the latter because of the dust that fell on him in the establishments, and the sources added to the “Syrian Observatory” that the altercation quickly developed to fire by the commander on the worker, which led to his immediate death, also another worker was injured by the same commander, while conflicted the information about the fate of the leader was conflicted, as it is not known yet whether he was arrested or whether he fled to al-Qameshly city, and the “Syrian Observatory” monitored popular discontent and outrage in Ayn al-Arab (Kobani) city over the incident.
