94 civilian casualties more than half of them are children and women… the air and ground bombardment kill in 20 days more than double of their casualties in September and October
One civilian was killed and others were injured, in airstrikes carried out by the Russian warplanes on Mra’eian village in Jabal al-Zawiyah Friday noon, in a continuation of killing within the “Putin – Erdogan” area by all parties operating on the ground, where the Syrian Observatory documented the death of 94 civilians in Aleppo, Hama, Latakia and Idlib from the 2nd of November 2019 until now including 33 children and 21 women, and the casualties are: 52 civilians including 20 children and 10 citizens killed in Russian air strikes, 23 including 10 children and 9 citizens were killed in ground shelling by the regime forces, 7 including a woman and 2 children were killed in airstrikes carried out by regime’s warplanes, 9 including a woman and 4 children were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo city and Hama countryside, and 3 civilians were killed in the fall of barrel bombs dropped by regime’s helicopters, also the air and ground shelling left hundreds of injured people and wounded, some of them are in serious situations and some became disabled, also the Syrian Observatory documented during this period that the Russians carried out 6 massacres in Idlib and west Aleppo, while the regime carried out a massacre by ground shelling on a camp north of Idlib, in addition to a massacre carried out by the factions by shelling neighborhoods in Aleppo city.
This month’s escalation of killings comes for the first time since the new “Putin – Erdogan” agreement at the end of August, where the total number of casualties in October and September was 45 civilian casualties, which is less than half of the number of casualties since the beginning of November.
And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4590, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 22nd of November 2019, and they are: 1193 civilians including 303 children and 217 citizen women, and they are 292 including 66 children and 54 women, and 9 of the civil defense and 5 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 91 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 549 including 157 children, 93 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 171 people including 35 women and 35 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 90 citizens including 30 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1819 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1184 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1578 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.
And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 22nd of November 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 5116 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1476 civilians including 384 children under the age of eighteen and 280 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 116 people including 32 children under the age of eighteen and 19 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1905 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1217 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1735 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5349 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1559 civilians including 413 children and 295 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 117 people including 33 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1972 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1321 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1818 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
