HTS arrests a civil activist opposes its policy and the Salvation Government’s procedures in Darkush city

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed today that members of “Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham” arrested a civil activist in Darkush city west of Idlib, and according to sources of SOHR; members of the checkpoint of “Al-Zanbaqi” near Darkush city arrested the activist and took him to their security centers, today at noon.

Sources informed SOHR that the activist is 60 years old and suffers from several illnesses, and he is one of those oppose “Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham” and the “Salvation Government”, amid popular resentment and demands to release him.

On November 21, SOHR published that members of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham arrested a media activist from Hass city against the backdrop of his repeated criticism against the policy of HTS and the Salvation Government on social media.

Sources confirmed to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that Al-Bayadah checkpoint of Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham near Al-Rami village, arrested the activist and took him to unknown destination, also one of the Sharia Courts had informed him that it is necessary to get back to it, for the same reasons, but he tried to evade them for days before being arrested.

“Tahrir Al-Sham” adopts the policy of silencing and pursuing the media activists who oppose its trends.
