With intensive support from the Russian warplanes, regime forces continue to advance southeast of Idlib and control new villages and locations in the area

Violent clashes continued between the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them against the factions and Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham, until late hours after midnight of yesterday, on areas at the southeastern countryside of Idlib, and the Syrian Observatory learned that regime forces -with the Russian warplanes’ intensive air support- were able to progress and control al-Zarzour, Om al-Khalakhil, and other points and positions in the area, also the violent clashes left casualties in the ranks of both parties, and in the same context, the regime forces shelled after midnight of yesterday places in Ma’aret Hurmah, Kafrsajna, Sheikh Mustafa, Arinbeh, Tahtaya, al-Tah, and Om Jalal in the countryside of Idlib, while the relative and cautious calm prevails throughout the “de-escalation” area with the early hours of the morning.
