After he rejected domination of “Watad Company” over civilians’ burners .. HTS arrests one of its commanders in Idlib countryside

Idlib Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed that the security services of “Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham” arrested a person called “Khairat Abu Abd Al-Azim” who is one of the HTS Emirs and descended from Maarrat Al-Na’san town in the north-eastern countryside of Idlib.

Sources of SOHR pointed out that the commander was arrested in one of the security centers of HTS after being summoned, after a disagreement against “Watad” Petroleum Company, where the company demanded nearly 6 weeks ago, the owners of oil burners to run the burners in favor of it, and the burners’ owners to serve as workers, the matter that was rejected by the burners’ owners and developed to be a disagreement between the owners of oil burners and the company, especially after the latter threatened to run the burners by force, which pushed the arrested commander to dismiss the company’s deputies from the town, which has provoked HTS that threatened to storm the town in the case that the commander would not turn himself in, then the security services of HTS requested the commander to get back to one of its security centers and vowed not to arrest him, and while being there in the abovementioned center, Tahrir Al-Sham arrested him.

It is noteworthy that Maarrat Al-Na’san is one of major fuel markets in Idlib countryside, and includes tens of oil burners which are considered source of living for tens of families in the area.
