Drones target Hama Military Airbase causing explosions and fires inside the airbase

Explosions were heard in Hama Military Airbase due to an attack by drones whose identity is not known, sources informed the Syrian Observatory that the sound of anti aircraft was heard in the airbase’s perimeter.

Sources confirmed to SOHR that outbreak of fires coincided with the explosions inside the airbase due to this targeting, without information about casualties so far.

In connection to this, the regime forces shelled with artillery and missiles, Kafr Nubl city and the towns of Maarrat Hurmah, Hass, Kafrumah, Sheikh Mustafa, and the outskirts of Maarrat Al-Nu’man, they also fired a surface-to-surface missile on Kafr Nubl town in the southern countryside of Idlib.

SOHR monitored today evening, violent clashes erupted between factions within what is known as “Al-Fat-h Al-Mubeen” Operation Room on one hand, and the regime forces on the other, after an attempt to advance into areas of the former, in al-Ferja in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib.

SOHR also monitored 60 raids carried out today by the regime’s warplanes and helicopters and Russian warplanes, all targeted the “de-escalation” zone in Idlib province, in addition to tens of ground strikes that targeted Idlib, Hama and Latakia countryside.

Also the area of Kabani in Latakia countryside witnessed fierce clashes between the regime forces and gunmen loyal to them on one hand, and jihadi factions on the other, after 2 failed attempts to advance into positions of the jihadists, accompanied by violent artillery and rocket shelling.
