About 20 persons killed in bombardment by the regime and Russian warplanes on Idlib province since morning

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented the killing of a citizen woman and 2 of her children due to Russian airstrikes that targeted Idlib Central Prison, while more than 17 others were injured with varying severity.

Sources informed SOHR that the woman was visiting a prisoner with her children at the time when the bombardment took place.

SOHR was informed that the area of the prison and its vicinity are witnessing alertness after the escape of a number of prisoners after the Russian bombardment, while the “Security Services” in Hayyaat Tahrir Al-Sham are chasing the escapees.

With the fall of more casualties, the death toll in Idlib province rose to 19 citizens who have been killed since morning, they are 13 including 2 women, the number of people who were killed in a massacre carried out by regime’s warplanes which bombed a popular market in Maarrat Al-Nu’man city, a citizen woman was killed in bombardment by the regime’s warplanes on Sarman village in Maarrat Al-Nu’man countryside where a Turkish observation post is located, a citizen was killed in raids by the regime’s warplanes on Saraqib town, a citizen was killed in Russian bombardment on a village south-east of Idlib, and a citizen woman and 2 of her children were killed in Russian bombardment on Idlib Central Prison.

With the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 683, the number of people who were killed since the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 2nd of December 2019, and they are: 182 civilians including 47 children and 36 citizen women, and they are 77 including 25 children and 13 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 3 were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 30 including 3 children 6 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 61 people including 15 women and 15 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 11 citizens including 4 children and 2 women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 234 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 149 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 267 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

Thus, it rose to at least 4784, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 2nd of December 2019, and they are: 1227 civilians including 307 children and 222 citizen women, and they are 303 including 69 children and 56 women, and 9 of the civil defense and 6 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 91 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 567 including 157 children, 96 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 175 people including 35 women and 36 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 91 citizens including 30 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1899 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1236 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1658 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

During the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 2nd of December 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 5310 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1510 civilians including 388 children under the age of eighteen and 286 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 117 people including 33 children under the age of eighteen and 20 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 1985 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1268 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1815 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5544 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1593 civilians including 417 children and 300 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 118 people including 33 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2052 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1372 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1899 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
