In protest against arresting a former commander in the opposition factions .. armed members in the “5th Corps” formed by Russia, are deployed east Daraa and block the road to Sayda

Daraa Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: gunmen believed to be of the “Popular Resistance” have shot a member of those affiliated to the “5th Corps” formed by Russia, in Al-Jiza town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, which injured him badly.

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed that armed members in the “5th Corps” formed by Russia, have been deployed in Sayda town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, and block some of the roads to the town, in protest against arresting a former commander in the opposition factions in the capital Damascus by the regime’s security services.

Thus, it rose to more than 195, the number of attacks and assassination attempts took place in various forms and methods by detonating bombs, mines, booby-trapped cars, and firing with light and medium weapons, since June 2019 until this day, raising to 134, the number of people killed in the same period of time, they are 21 civilians including 3 women and 2 children, 67 of the regime forces and militiamen. loyal to them and collaborators of the security forces and regime institutions, 26 fighters of the faction who carried out “reconciliation and settlements” and became in the ranks of regime’s security branches, including former commanders, and of the 15 Syrian militias of the Lebanese Hezbollah and Iranian forces, in addition to 6 of what is known as the 5th Corps which was established by Russia.
