The violent clashes continue in the eastern countryside of Maarrat al-Nu’man… 34 of the factions and the regime were killed in battles of Idlib countryside

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented today the killing of 2 of the Islamic factions in the sporadic clashes with heavy machine guns and artillery shelling on the area of Srouj village in Idlib countryside, raising the death toll of the regime and militiamen loyal to them since after midnight to 9, while 25 members of the factions including 20 of the Jihadis were killed, raising the death toll of both parties from the violent clashes in the southeastern Idlib countryside from the 30th of November 2019 until this morning to 136 at least.

In the same context, clashes continue violently on Om Tina area in the southeastern countryside of Idlib, while the Islamic factions and the jihadi organizations responded to the regime forces’ advancement attempts in this area, amid continued ground and air shelling in this area, and the Syrian Observatory monitored the regime forces regaining control of Rasm al-Ward and Establat, after they regained control of Srouj hours earlier, and by that, the regime forces were once again able to regain control of all the areas to which the factions advanced over the past 4 days, in the hit-and-run clashes southeast of Idlib.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 724, the number of people who were killed since the last agreement of “Putin – Erdogan” on the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 4th of December 2019, and they are: 187 civilians including 48 children and 36 citizen women, and they are 80 including 25 children and 13 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 4 were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 30 including 3 children 6 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 61 people including 15 women and 15 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 12 citizens including 4 children and 2 women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 261 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 171 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 276 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4825, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 4th of December 2019, and they are: 1232 civilians including 308 children and 222 citizen women, and they are 305 including 69 children and 56 women, and 9 of the civil defense and 6 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 92 including 19 women and 15 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 567 including 157 children, 96 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 175 people including 35 women and 36 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 92 citizens including 31 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1926 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1258 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1667 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.

And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 3rd of December 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 5351 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1515 civilians including 389 children under the age of eighteen and 286 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 118 people including 34 children under the age of eighteen and 20 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2012 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1290 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1824 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.

While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5585 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1598 civilians including 418 children and 300 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 119 people including 34 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2079 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1394 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1908 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
