Assassination attempt targets an officer in the regime forces and an IED goes off .. in the shadow of growing security chaos in Daraa province

Daraa Province – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today, an assassination attempt in Inkhil city in Daraa countryside, targeted a captain in the ranks of the regime forces, which injured him seriously.

In the same context, 2 successive explosions were heard on the road between Hayt and Sahem followed by gunfire, the details are yet to be known.

Meanwhile, an IED exploded while being dismantled, after unknown persons planted it with the purpose of targeting one of the cooperators with the regime’s Intelligence “State Security”, which left injuries among the expert engineering team.

SOHR monitored on December 2, that gunmen believed to be of the “Popular Resistance” have shot a member of those affiliated to the “5th Corps” formed by Russia, in Al-Jiza town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, which injured him badly.

Also the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights was informed that armed members in the “5th Corps” formed by Russia, have been deployed in Sayda town in the eastern countryside of Daraa, and block some of the roads to the town, in protest against arresting a former commander in the opposition factions in the capital Damascus by the regime’s security services.
