Locals of Deir Ezzor block roads .. and call upon the “Autonomous Administration” for developing their areas from oil revenues
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored today evening, that the locals of Al-Busayrah city, Al-Sabha and Abriha in Deir Ezzor countryside, set tires on fire and blocked the roads to these towns, in protest against the ignoring to the area, and the locals demanded the allocation of sums of money from the oil revenues for developing the area.
Reliable sources confirmed to SOHR that representatives of the People’s Council in Al-Busayrah area, met yesterday with the deputy minister of oil in the “Autonomous Administration” and asked him for allocating monthly sums of money for the civil councils and monthly expenses for the families in the area, because of the lack of job opportunities and the high prices of goods in general, and the meeting was over without reaching a deal, so the representatives of the People’s Council in Al-Busayrah and the locals decided to protest in Al-Busayrah city.
SOHR monitored on November 15, that the Syria Democratic Forces dispersed a demonstration against the “regime” in al-Raqqah area, and according to sources of the Syrian Observatory, “the Syria Democratic Forces dispersed the demonstration by gunfire and arrested several demonstrators in al-Mansoura, during the demonstration against the Syrian regime and the presence of its members in the area, the justification of the Syria Democratic Forces for dispersing the demonstration through gunfire was that they did not have a permit to carry out a demonstration.”, while sources in the Syria Democratic Forces denied what the sources told the “Syrian Observatory”.
