Factions counter the advancement attempt in Latakia countryside and kill 5 members of the regime forces and destroy vehicles in clashes this afternoon
The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented today the killing of 5 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them, while 2 members of the jihadi factions were killed, in addition to destroying military vehicles of the regime forces, during clashes in Kabani area in the northern countryside of Latakia, and the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had monitored at noon of today violent clashes in Kabani area of Jabal al-Akrad in the northern countryside of Latakia, between the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them against jihadi groups, in an advancement attempt carried out by the regime forces on the area, amid exchange of shelling and targeting.
And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 791, the number of people who were killed since the last agreement of “Putin – Erdogan” on the 31st of August 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 8th of December 2019, and they are: 218 civilians including 60 children and 44 citizen women, and they are 96 including 30 children and 17 women were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 13 including 3 women and 4 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 32 including 5 children 6 women were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 64 people including 16 women and 16 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 13 citizens including 6 children and 2 women were killed in shelling by the factions on regime forces’-controlled areas in Aleppo and its countryside and the countryside of Hama, while at least 278 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 183 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 295 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.
And with the fall of more casualties, it rose to at least 4892, the number of people who were killed since the 30th of April 2019, the date of start of the most violent escalation in terms of aerial and ground bombardment, shelling, and targeting since Putin – Erdogan agreement, until the 8th of December 2019, and they are: 1263 civilians including 320 children and 230 citizen women, and they are 322 including 74 children and 60 women, and 9 of the civil defense and 6 of the ambulance team were killed in Russian aerial bombardment on the countryside of Idlib and Hama, and 101 including 22 women and 19 children were killed in the fall of barrel bombs, and 569 including 159 children, 96 women, and 5 members of the rescue teams were killed in targeting by regime’s warplanes, also 178 people including 36 women and 37 children were killed in a ground shelling carried out by the regime forces, and 93 citizens including 31 children and 16 women were killed in shelling by the factions on al-Suqaylabiyah, Qamhana, Al-Rasif, Al-Aziziyah, Karnaz, Jurin, Al-Nairab Camp, neighborhoods in Aleppo city and its southern countryside, while at least 1943 fighters were killed in the Russian airstrikes and the regime’s aerial and ground shelling including 1270 of the Jihadis, in addition to killing of 1686 members of the regime forces in targeting and shelling by jihadi groups and factions.
And during the period between the 15th of February 2019; the date of the meeting of “Rouhani – Erdogan – Putin” until the 8th of December 2019, and Syrian Observatory documented the death of 5418 people in the Russian – Turkish truce areas, they are 1546 civilians including 401 children under the age of eighteen and 294 women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the Russian aerial bombardment and the rocket shelling by the regime forces and the factions, and among the death toll of civilians there are 119 people including 34 children under the age of eighteen and 20 citizen women over the age of eighteen, they were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2029 fighters were killed in different conditions within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1302 fighters of the “Jihadis” and 1843 of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
While the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights documented since the start of the Russian – Turkish truce the death of 5652 people in areas of Erdogan – Putin agreement, they are: 1629 civilians including 430 children and 308 women, were killed in shelling by the regime forces and the militiamen loyal to them, targeting, and bombardment by warplanes, and among them there are 120 people including 34 children and 21 women, were killed in the fall of shells launched by the factions, and 2096 fighters were killed in deferent circumstances within the demilitarized area since Putin – Erdogan agreement, including 1406 of the “Jihadi” fighters, and 1972 members of the regime forces and militiamen loyal to them.
