“Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham” raids ISIS houses and arrest its members in the vicinity of Idlib city

Idlib Province, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights: Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham raided houses in Msibin town and the vicinity of Idlib city, where they arrested at least 2 members of the “Islamic State” organization, and according to the Syrian Observatory’s sources, Tahrir al-Sham confiscated several IEDs and weapons found in places where they were arrested, while the area is witnessing a security alert for members of Hayyaat Tahrir al-Sham.

It worth mentioning that the area around Idlib city is considered an activity point for these cells, and the United States had carried out an air drop in Barisha town and managed to kill the leader of the “Islamic State” organization on the 26th of October 2019.

SOHR published on December 6, that a commander in the “1st Coastal Regiments” was injured badly and his wife was killed after being shot today, in Jisr Al-Shughur countryside, sources informed the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights that unidentified gunmen opened fire on them and stole their car.

It is noteworthy that the “1st Coastal Regiments” is one of the rebel factions operating in the sector of Latakia countryside.
